We’re excited to invite you to visit our home in Colorado—a custom-built Santa Fe Lodge-style house on a 37-acre Freek Ranch in the beautiful high-desert of Red Canyon north of Cañon City. At one hour from the Pueblo Airport, one hour fifteen minutes from the airport in Colorado Springs, or two-and-a-half hours from the Denver Airport there are plenty of ways to arrive.
The house has two living areas. The Main Level has a very large open-plan kitchen/dining/living room with wood burning fireplace and walkouts to two covered porches and an open patio which has its own wood-burning fireplace, and our master suite. The Lower Lever is the guest area; a king bedroom and a “bunk room” which has a twin-over-twin bunk bed with a twin trundle, and a shared full bath. The bunk room can sleep three—or up to six if you double up. The lower level also has a snack area with mini fridge, a family room/game area with a big screen TV, and a walkout to a covered patio and your own private parking area.
There are 37 acres of hiking in our “back yard”—but beware, it’s possible to get lost out there. Take a map, some water, and a walkie talkie!
There are many, many fun and interesting things to do in the local and surrounding areas—take a look at the Things To Do page. In fact, there’s so much to do you’ll probably need a day off to relax and recharge on the deck to plan your next adventure!
